Do you listen to music when you write? If so, what?

My music playlist is as diverse as my stories and the characters in them. I have Marvin Gaye, Maroon 5, Imagine Dragons, Prince, Rihanna, Jodeci, Tony Braxton, Aerosmith, One Republic, Bob Marley, Buju Banton, Chris Brown and a buffet of other artists from different musical genres blaring amazing music in my ears while I put imagination to paper.

If you could meet one dead author, who would it be and why?

J.R.R. Tolkien. Tolkien was a pioneer when it came to creating an entire new reality and world. Middle Earth was so vast and the history so rich with wonder that even after his death it still fascinates people of all cultures and ages.

Author Bio

Navi’ Robins was born in Chicago, IL and comes from a family as diverse as the characters in his novels. He is the author of two highly rated series, Walking Among the Shadows and Article 88: Jericho’s Revenge. He published his first novel in May of 2013 and since that time has published three other books as well. He aspires to write in as many genres as possible to broaden his imagination and writing prowess; while also creating new ideas and realities that will not only fascinate readers but also provide thought provoking lessons that many can relate to.
