Feature your book for an entire month with our Cover Wars Campaign

A month long campaign!

Put your cover up against other covers.

Feature your book cover for an entire month. Get your family, friends, social networking buddies, and anyone else you can—get them to vote for your cover each day of the campaign. Who will get the most votes? Who will bring the most people to the campaign? Which cover will be the editor's pick? My family will also pick their favorite covers from the campaign.

How much will this cost?

Only $5.

For the low price of $5.00 you will get lots of promotion from me. On Twitter I will highlight each book multiple times throughout the length of the campaign, which will be no less than one month. (If I don't like the amount of response we get, I may extend the vote. So, rest assured. You will get more than your $5 worth.)

I will also promote it on Facebook and Instagram, though the bulk of the promotion will be on Twitter.

But it won't be just me. I will be inviting book bloggers to get involved. (More details about that here) As an author in the campaign you will be encouraged to blog about it, tweet about it, share it on Facebook, and anything else you can think of.

In the past authors have told me that they had a lot of fun highlighting their book in Cover Wars. There will be a few differences this time around, though.

First of all, the voting results will be public throughout the entire campaign. In the past I had the results hidden until I announced the winner. I'm going to try to do the opposite and see what happens.

There will be some surprises in the end. I will pick my favorite cover out of the bunch, and each member of my family will do the same, so there will be up to five editor picks.

We will also recognize the author who brings more people to the campaign than anyone else. Each author will get a unique link they can share on social media, their blog, and so forth. Even if your book doesn't win the popular vote or even a nod from a member of my family, you might still get a little extra promotion for your efforts.

But there's still more. I will gladly promote any post on your blog where you mention and/or promote the Cover Wars campaign. Also, the offer to book bloggers (which authors can join even if they aren't in Cover Wars) will include promotion of one non Cover Wars post.

Cover Wars was the most popular thing on this site a few years ago, and I think we can achieve similar results again, even if I'm not pushing this blog like I used to. One reason is that I want to focus on the blog tour aspect of the New Cover Wars. Between the authors getting involved and other book bloggers, I think we might even be able to outshine the results of Cover Wars in its heyday, which brought more than a thousand votes in one month.

Does your cover have what it takes?

Does your social marketing need a boost?

Are you ready to try something different?

Would you like to network with other authors?

If you answered yes to any of the above questions, I only have one more question to ask.

Will you join me?
