Attention all authors: all genres accepted for Cover Wars Extravaganza

The Romance version of the Cover Wars/Scavenger Hunt campaign was a huge success. So much so that I don't know if we can top it for Sci-Fi month. We'll see. However, this post is about the plans for November and December.
Instead of having a month long theme, each week will be a different theme. Instead of trying to garner enough attention for each weekly theme, Cover Wars and the Scavenger Hunt will be open to anyone and everyone.
Let's call it an end-of-the-year extravaganza.
Eight weeks of fierce competition for any author—any book. A fight to the finish with a choice of two prizes to the winning book.
More promotion or get your money back
As was offered starting with the Romance version, the winner of the Cover Wars Extravaganza will have the option of getting more promotion on this site—a promo post, tweets to promote that post, and a few extra tweets to promote the book directly on Amazon. However, a second option will be available for this version of the campaign.
The winner can choose to get their money back. In fact, I'll throw in an extra $5. To state it clearly, you pay $15 to get in the Cover Wars competition (and Scavenger Hunt). If you win the competition, you get $20 back if you choose that option.
How does Cover Wars work?
The power behind Cover Wars is the community driven traffic. You bring your family, friends, and anyone else you can get—have them come to the site to vote for your book every day. By doing this you are helping your fellow competitors.
Yes, someone will win something (either more promotion or some money back), but the exposure factor cannot be denied. There were more than 1,500 votes during Romance month, and I lost count of how many people participated in the Scavenger Hunt. I haven't done a final count yet, but I wouldn't be surprised if it were a hundred people.
Most of those will see your book, possibly more than once.
What about the Scavenger Hunt?
Each scavenger will be encouraged to check out each book in the competition. They go to your book's Amazon page and answer a question about your book for a chance at a gift card.
They can also choose to follow you on Twitter, like you on Facebook, not to mention check out your blog to answer another scavenger hunt question. Once again the exposure factor cannot be ignored.
So, if you've wanted to be in Cover Wars but didn't feel like going up against the wrong genre, now's your chance. All genres will be accepted during the end-of-the-year Cover Wars Extravaganza.
Does your cover have what it takes to go all the way? Would you like to find out?
There are three package options this time around.
1. Entry into Cover Wars and the Scavenger Hunt only
2. Package 1 contents plus a promo post and one round of long term Twitter marketing to promote that post.
3. Everything that comes with Package 2 plus one round of long term Twitter marketing to directly promote your book on Amazon.
