Asher has it all; he is a rock star, literally! A true bad boy, born with a silver spoon in his mouth. Maddy on the other hand is fairly ordinary with a medical condition. They are thrown into a situation where Maddy comes to work for Asher, which is when the fun begins. Asher can get whomever he wants just not Maddy. She is a grad student who isn’t affected by his charm.

Asher’s relationship with his father and his niece are interesting aspects of this romantic story. Asher’s character is very well developed whereas Maddy’s is more enigmatic. This was an enjoyable read and a heartwarming story. I did like how Maddy’s struggle with rheumatoid arthritis was incorporated into the story; I learnt something about RA where previously I knew nothing.

Overall I give it 4 stars. I will have to check out the other books written by this author.
