Jeremy Lakewood is not afraid of a challenge. Rising from an impoverished childhood to the upper echelons of the corporate world has allowed him to live up to his vow to support his widowed mother and disabled sister. The one crater in his road to success is Lalita Evans, the one that got away and the only woman who has ever turned his blood to molten lava. She’s not only the woman he can’t forget, but also his boss’s daughter. Sent to Asia with her on business, her father’s warning echoes in his ears - seduce Lalita and his career is over. Will he risk his livelihood and all the success he’s achieved to win the woman who haunts his dreams?
Eight countries in three weeks, a quest to find a birth mother, and a mutual attraction as intense as it is inconvenient leaves both Lalita and Jeremy questioning what they really want in life - love or their careers?

I absolutely loved this book that I read it in 2 days! That's how good it is. I loved the descriptive writing which brought all characters and events to life. Just when you think you know where the story is heading it takes a new and better twist. The characters are so believable that I felt the romantic chemistry between them. I'm looking forward to her next book.
I enjoyed this debut novel by Alexia Adams. This has more than enough chemistry and sizzle to do the trick even though I normally read spicier selections. Great settings around the world and real characters. The hero is a true gentleman, perfect to keep a modern heroine on her toes. Never threatened by her strengths and no push over. Sexy and sweet without being a Labrador.
Lalita Evans is a hard-driving business executive trying to prove she can run her father's company. Jeremy Lakewood is the man she had a passionate one night stand with five years ago and who is now assigned to travel with her through the capitals of Asia to sell Jeremy's marketing ideas. Each remembers their fling. Neither wants to jeopardize their job by giving in to the attraction between them.
But then they get to India where Lalita has been led, searching for the family she has always suspected was her real family, not the Evans family that raised her. Love, ambition and family ties for both Lalita and Jeremy weave a story that takes them all over the world searching for a happy ending. It's a fun journey following them.
