Darlene Jones has a unique writing style. It's correct but not conservative or stuffy. She paints with words. Her books will have you turning pages to find out what happens next. Anticipation will be followed by emotion. You'll care about her characters and think about them after you've closed the book.

Why do you recommend this book?


I am not a science fiction fan but I love this book. Embattled has just enough magic added to a story based on Earth to make it a delightful read. It will leave you wanting to pick up and read the other three books in the Em and Yves Series.
