December is here—where has the time gone?. Actually it's been here for a few days, but with the Forbidden Future tour going on (plus other non-internet-y things), I haven't had a chance to put this month's Cover Wars together.

But it's worth the wait ... and then some. We've got some great covers this month. And quite a few of them. In fact, I can't decide which is my favorite.

One Change: I'm experimenting two fold this month. First, this is the first month that some authors bought a spot in Cover Wars but didn't buy a Scavenger Hunt slot. Second, although the scavenger hunt isn't directly sponsored by these authors, I don't want to diminish the value of Cover Wars.

So...

I'm making voting in Cover Wars mandatory each day, which means that if you only play the scavenger hunt once, you have to at least acknowledge Cover Wars. I can't make you vote in Cover Wars since it isn't the same system (Rafflecopter vs. Polldaddy), but if this experiment works, I may get rid of Polldaddy in the future.

Rafflecopter does have a polling option, but I or DeeJay would have to pay for the service. With as many giveaways as we do now, that option is definitely on the table for the near future. In the meantime, I apologize for putting you through these hoops.

In any case, here are this month's covers to drool over. Yes, they are THAT good.
