Like Clockwork
A GODSPEED Giveaway

February Grace here…and I am thankful to the Masquerade Crew for the opportunity to guest post.

Recently I wrote a post on my own blog about my decision to roll the price on my first novel, a literary romance/steampunk hybrid called GODSPEED, back to 99 cents and my reasons for doing so. They were very personal reasons, and if you’re interested you can check out the whole post there.

Book Synopsis

What is a heart if not the ultimate clockwork?”

Abigail’s young life was saved by the kindness of strangers: Schuyler Algernon, the man who found her collapsed on cold city streets, and Quinn Godspeed, the doctor who risked everything by breaking the law to keep her fragile heart beating.

As the truth about what she’s become and her feelings for her savior overtake her, Abigail is forced to ask what constitutes life, living, and what dark secrets are contained within Godspeed’s past and the walls of Schuyler’s house.

But lately I’ve been thinking that marking the price down in this economy, when so many people are struggling so hard and could use a good escape for a little while, is just not good enough for me.

So I want to give a BUNCH of copies of my book away.

That’s right, I want to give everyone I can the chance to read about my intrepid, mysterious Doctor Quinn Godspeed and his special patients; and so for a limited time I am offering a MOBI, EPUB or PDF file of the novel to anyone who wants it.

All you have to do is send me an email at fireworksflowers at gmail dot com with the heading GODSPEED BOOK REQUEST and the sort of file you’d prefer in the subject line. That’s it. I will email a copy back to you as soon as I am able (delay will be based upon demand.)

It would be wonderful if you wanted to tell your friends about this opportunity (everyone loves free books, right?) and especially if you like the story, it would be even more wonderful if you took the time to leave a brief review on Amazon or even just a star rating at Goodreads. Tweeting about it would also be greatly appreciated, but is not by any means a requirement to receive the book.

So that’s it. This giveaway doesn’t have a distinct cutoff date, but I would advise you to act quickly because sometimes my health takes unexpected turns and I am unable to get to the computer for a bit.

Most of all, I hope that you’ll enjoy this gift— the results of two years of my fight against my own trying health (and overcoming fifteen surgeries and blindness to finish this book) and that you’ll keep the characters with you in your heart long after you’ve read it.

Happy Reading!
