I have really enjoyed reading the entire David Eddings collection, though the first book I can remember reading in its entirety was The Wishsong of Shannara by Terry Brooks. I'm slightly addicted to Lee Child's Reacher books . . . but I've read them all and am a little put out at Mr. Child for not writing faster. I've started reading Diane Capri's Hunt for Reacher series to keep me entertained in the meantime. Stieg Larsson's Millennium Trilogy; Jane Eyre; Janet Evanovich's Stephanie Plum [the latest has been on my TBR list since it came out, but I'm hoarding it for future consumption]. I've been reading a lot of indies lately . . . some good gems but a lot of . . . not gems. Trying to find a reviewing voice for such times. I don't like to be mean, but I love being honest. I may have my faults — boy do I — but that doesn't mean people get to treat me like some have recently. Even more so if they are guilty of the same thing they accuse me of. An author stopped payment on an advertising package, the dispute being one of no communication. The claim was that I had not made contact with the author. To be fair, that is a likely scenario. I'm often slow to respond, and it isn't unheard of for me not to respond at all. My email organization leaves much to be desired. I'm working on it.
