Daughter, friend, classmate, victim.

The gruesome murder of sixteen year old Cassie Grace will leave you haunted, clamouring for justice and asking 'Who killed Cassie Grace?'

Lila and Detective Dan Williams work closely on the case to piece together the details of Cassie's murder while fighting their growing attraction to each other.

Will their relationship bring them closer to the killer and each other or will it tear them apart?

As her life comes to a standstill, a piece of Lila's past will find her. How will Lila cope with the arrival of a person from her past and will it prove their innocence or expose them as the killer?

The Godmother's Review

Party Gone Wrong

This is a Mystery/Thriller mixed with Police Procedural.

Lila takes her daughter, Cassie to a birthday party. Something goes terribly wrong and Cassie is now dead. Lila is in shock and leans heavily on Detective Dan Williams and his partner not only for their strength but also to help solve the crime. Dan discovers that Lila has a past that may have something to do with the present. Is he right?

I enjoyed this story because it was full of twists and turns. Ms Ferguson interwove past events in such a way that they felt like the present until the reader becomes aware of the subtle differences.

Warning: This book is for Mature Audiences due Violence, Sexual Situations, and Adult Language.
