Here's what a
Fan had to say
Get k(inky) with ten awesome new book boyfriends!
This book is such a bargain! The authors are all well known and have their own well deserved fan clubs. Have to admit I'm definitely a Lexxie Couper fan, and that was the first thing to catch my eye when the book was released. I haven't read all the others yet. Started with
Scorched Desire, of course and I really enjoyed it. (No surprise, though.
Well, I'm not usually a big paranormal fan, so maybe there was a little surprise.) She had me at the tattoo on the Harley riding "Viking"! I'd like to see that in person. Just sayin'.Then I loved bringing in the mythology. The heroine was unique, particularly in her interests- and he was hotshot hot...literally. And I have to admit one (of many) of the pleasures it provided was where it cleverly slipped a Heart of Fame reference in at the end! Had to smile at that 😏
The other one I have read was Another Man's Treasure by Dee Tenorio. I haven't read any of her work before ( and I suspect that's a great deal why the put anthologies together!) but I'll probably be in the future. Actually, the storyline was fairly unique for me.
The hero is a single, widowed dad...and our heroine is a newly single- due to some unpleasant and ultimately sad then happy reasons- mother. If I say it was sweet, please don't take that as meaning it's tame. It's not...and I loved the way he spoke to her- especially with his love talk- supported her AND the daughter, ultimately making them believe in their own value and worth- which each one had different reasons for doubting. It was a satisfying read.
I still have the others to read but I wanted to get on here and let people realize this book looks to be a steal! Read it!
