Would you like to contribute to this flash fiction Twitter piece? #MQFlash

Here's the story so far...
It started like any other day, but it was definitely a day I will not soon forget. Nobody forgets the day they won the lottery! Not because it brought joy or prosperity, but because it opened the door to a madness I never thought possible.

The toxic crazies I'd chosen to leave behind have now resurfaced all because of this goddamn winning ticket.

Here's how it works.

We're writing a flash fiction story one line — rather, one tweet — at a time. Here's the latest tweet.

All you have to do is reply to this tweet with your idea for the next line in the story.

I will choose the next line from the replies. After that, I will tweet the next line, giving the author credit,  and blog about it as I have done with this line. The process will repeat.

Since I will need space to put your Twitter handle in the next tweet, please don't use all available space. Probably best to stop around 100 characters.

Since I used it, you may of course use #MQFlash if you wish, but I will only consider lines that are replied to the original—not some other random tweet that uses the hashtag. Just so there's no confusion.

And by the way, I'll pick lines that take into account what has already been written, so pay attention to the story as it is written.

Once again, here's the story so far.

Let's see what kind of crazy story we can come up with.

Are you game?
