The Red Mage army is rising again to fight evil. It is led by the Warrior of Light.Izanami is 17 and just started her training as a Red Mage Warrior, along with her friend Zane. They have learned to fight with sword and magic since childhood. Along the way she'll encounter her beast guardian and General Kyros.
Before True Light' starts engagingly even if the style is a bit naive. However when Izanami and Zane start traveling, the author is not always as generous with details. I guess it can sometimes be difficult to decide what to reveal about a character if you want to keep this person mysterious.
Overall this novel is enjoyable and picks the reader's curiosity. I wonder how Izanami will develop in the sequel. This character is young and has the potential to become a positive role model for young adults.
