Add a Blog Tour to a Post Package
For now, this blog tour option will only be an add on. In the future I may increase the options and opportunities. The two ad services that you will be able to add a blog tour to are the Novel Bits and Upgraded Amazon Shout Outs.
Price
The price will be based upon how much traffic I can round up for you. I would like to guarantee a minimum 10,000 page views for $5. I don't know if I'll be able to offer this right away since I just sent out the blog tour participant invitation today. Since I'm offering to pay them a small amount, I'm hoping many will jump on board and help me and you. Time will tell.
It will be on the sign up form, though, which I should be ready to release in the next day or so. Hopefully I'll have enough blogs on board by the time we're ready to tour the blogosphere.
Obviously, the more blogs I can gather, the higher the fee will be. I don't know if the fee will go up to $10 when the estimated page views hit 20,000 or if I will charge a prorated amount sooner. In any case, there probably won't be discounts for higher page view totals. You'll pay about $5 for every 10,000 page views.
ADDITION: I realized after posting that the above is a little confusing. I'm not saying that you will get 10,000 page views for your particular posts. No, I will put blogs together that have a combined monthly traffic of 10,000 page views according to StatCounter. That is what will be $5. Sorry for any confusion.
With enough participating blogs, you will also have the option to pick how much to spend on it—how much estimated traffic you want to pay for—so that you can stay within your marketing budget.
Blog Tour Material
I'm not going to fuss too much about what gets posted on each of the blogs on the tour. If you really want to get the bang for your buck, try providing as much diverse material as possible. If there's something unique for each blog on the tour, that will add value to the overall message. That way, people will be more inclined to hop along the stops on the tour.
Offering your book for free in exchange for reviews is a good way for the bloggers to add diverse material. However, I am not going to force the other blogs to review your book. It will always be optional.
You won't have to deal with the other bloggers, though. I'll send them the info and material you come up with. I'll be the middle man, making sure you get your money's worth and more.
