Niamh feels secure with him around, but Bianka is torn inside because just when she decides that maybe she could trust him, he tells her about his mysterious friend, Elizabeth. Although her name doesn’t sound familiar, the story of how Goyo met her is vivid, like a recurring delusion. It frightens Bianka even more than the awareness that a new wave of darkness might summon them again.
Bianka’s senses scream: YOU SHOULD NOT BE HERE! She will have to listen to her intuition or she will become another of Elizabeth’s unwitting puppets.

An intelligent read
This was an impressive read from a debut author. While it's definitely a mystery/thriller/romance, it doesn't really fit into any "one" category, nor does it offer contrived plot lines or cookie-cutter characters. I found the interactions between Goyo and the two sisters - and even Elizabeth - to be interesting and dynamic.
The dialogue was witty and really pulls you into the scene. The author did a particular good job at choosing the setting for something equal parts exotic, dark, and thrilling. It feels like everything is just sort of "random" but wait until you get to the end. It will all make sense!
Don't expect an easy read, though "Illusive Intrusion" certainly offers an exciting adventure. The author doesn't hold your hand; you have to really pay attention while reading. The book is intelligently written, with many clues and even backstories left to the reader to figure out.
While it may not be for everyone, it was refreshing to read something "new" (ahem, original) and especially from a debut author. The book was intriguing, to say the least. I look forward to reading more from this new author.

He loves to travel, and when he's back from another of his journeys a new story evolves. When he wants it to stay alive, he opens his laptop and starts to type.
He lives with his fiancée in Dublin, Ireland. When it rains there, he thinks about the bright and sunny places where the next captivating story awaits him. And what would be the purpose of all of that if later he couldn't share his thoughts with readers?
