Buffer Tell everyone a little bit about yourself.    I’m Mark, I’m 38 and work as a chef for a busy, busy hotel. I am a real Bibliophile who is obsessed with reading and cannot be found ANYWHERE without either a book or my Kindle to hand. If not both.... Who are some of your favorite authors? Books? Robin Hobb, Stephen King and Dean Koontz are three of my favourite authors of all time. I currently have an on-going list of my own personal 1001 books and authors to read before you die on my Blog but my favourite ever books include THE BOOK THIEF BY MARCUS ZUSAK, IT BY STEPHEN KING, THE FARSEER TRILOGY BY ROBIN HOBB, THE ICARUS VOID BY C.K.BURGH AND ODD THOMAS BY DEAN KOONTZ.

Buffer I really like Zombie books, movies, and pins on Pinterest! I also took a little inspiration from current events. I threw a "bath salts" reference in there. The people who are doing these drugs and biting people's faces have a conspiracy theory out there that the Apocalypse has begun. We live in a crazy world!! The song that was playing in my head the entire time I wrote Zombified was Living Dead Girl, by Rob Zombie. This is a song that I discovered towards the end of writing the novel and now it is stuck in my head. It's a parody so it's to the tune of everyone's favorite catchy song Call Me Maybe.

Buffer Tell everyone a little bit about yourself. Hey my name is Ruby but I generally go by Rubyblood online. I am an artist in all manners of the word. I love to crochet/draw/write/paint/sculpt/build things/photograph & more. I am always researching one topic or another that I am interested in. I am into the darker things in life and love black eye shadow and the occasional touch of neon colors. I adore what you may call Goth fashion and yes I do accept that label if you want to label me something. I am an only child and lost both parents and all grandparents before I turned 19. My blood family is wide spread but those that are chosen family are all around. I hope to make a difference in at least one persons life even if its just helping to avoid mistakes that I have made.

Buffer During my 'travels' as a writer, as a follower of mythical marvels, a dreamer who shapes words, and a believer in making dreams come true, I have met unicorns. I met them long ago, when I was a girl... a girl whom animals followed through the streets, who sat under shady trees and talked to the ethers, sending out her thoughts in happy, floating imaginings; who deliberately touched trees as she passed them and climbed rocky, red soiled and sun-struck hills, barefoot. A girl who cradled her pet chicken for hours at a time, stroking the red feathers and telling her things about the magical ministries of nature and fairies, which chickens must already know as they scratch in the yard and roll in the dirt after a day of dozing in the sun.

Buffer Tell everyone a little bit about yourself. I live with two cats and love live music. I’d love to start a collection of skulls, but it would take too much space. I need a dose of chocolate, coffee, and reading, in no specific order, every day. Who are some of your favorite authors? Books? In no specific order:  Jane Timm Baxter, Elyse Draper, Alice Walker, Elizabeth A. Lynn, Manda Scott, Patricia Cornwell, Kelley Armstrong, Sarah Dreher.  Books: ‘In The Darkness, Hunting’ by Janrae Frank; ‘Daughters of Copper Woman’ by Anne Cameron; ‘The Colour Purple’ by Alice Walker; ‘Sunshine’ by Robin McKinney; ‘The Historian’ by Elizabeth Kostova; ‘The Northern Girl’ by Elizabeth A. Lynn; ‘I Am Morte’ (short story) by Elyse Draper. What are your favorite genres of books to read? I read many genres, but the addition of a vampire, a werewolf, some mind-reading or some extraordinary beings, is likely to increase my interest. Over the years, I learnt that the...
