3 Types of Book Promo Posts Plus 2 Add Ons

Image
Buffer The Basic Promo The basic book promotion post, which comes with all of our advertising packages, contains a synopsis and a few quotes from positive reviews. Basically, it's an introduction and limited exposure for your book to our readers. I try to pick a blog post title which will attract attention (which I try to do for all my posts to varying degrees of success.)

Buffer For those of you who haven't heard, we are putting together an anthology of short stories to be published on Amazon as an e-book. The theme of the anthology is time travel, specifically the following prompt: In the spirit of H.G. Well's "The Time Machine," one character or a group of characters travel many years into the future. What do they find there? Are they able to come back home, or are they trapped? What has become of mankind? Is life better or worse? What's the political climate? The real climate? (IOW mother nature) The choices are up to you.

How our New Ad Space Works

Image
Buffer All of our upcoming advertising packages (for authors) come with one or more areas of Ad space on this blog. The more expensive the ad package, the more ad space you get. There are three areas of ad space: left side bar, right side bar, and top banner. Here's a little info for each of them.

How Twitter Marketing Works with the Masquerade Crew

Image
Buffer Twitter marketing automatically comes with each of the upcoming advertising packages. All of the packages work the same. The only difference is the number of tweets per week: 10, 20 or 30. Tweets are spread out through the week, occurring at different times of the day. The tweets are repeated each week. I do not know how long a tweet campaign will last. Once I decide my schedule is full, I'll start replacing the older campaigns with newer ones, which shouldn't be anytime soon, especially for the early advertisers. Tweets can be composed in a few different forms (with the author's help): review quotes, novel lines, plot summaries, and general tweets to introduce the book and/or author. A link to either the book on Amazon or to a promo post on this site is appended after the text.

Bad news or good news? Good news!

Buffer I've been wanting to revamp the advertising program on this blog for a while, but I haven't had the time or the energy needed to do so. My hours at work have been cut in half, so starting this next week, I'll have a lot more time to devote to other activities, namely managing the house and my onine endeavors. (The house is a mess.) Though I will still operate in the same spirit that I have had this past year (yes, this blog is a year old), I'll be focusing a lot more on paying clients. What this really means is that book promotions will no longer be free (most of the time). Guest posts and syndicated posts will still be free, though even with these, I will give paying clients priority.
